Lab Equipment and its Uses

Beaker: Used for Measuring Liquids

conical Flask:  Is used for mixing and heating

Test tube: Is for heat and hold and mixing quantities

Boiling tube: is known for strongly heat substances

Measuring Cylinder: is used for measuring liquids

Evaporating Basin: used for drying out liquids and making crystals

funnel: used for water or anything to be putted in a small space

spatula:used for mixing  and spreading things

tripod:commonly used to conduct experiments 

test tube holder: used for holding hot test tubes

sizzle tongs:used to place under a microscope

Science 2017 Lab Rules

Lab Rules.
1. Always follow instructions
2. Enter lab ONLY if your teacher is present
3. Tie up long hair
4. Clean up your work area.
5. No eating and drinking in the Lab
6. No running just Walking
7. Ask for permission before using equipment
8. Wear safety glasses for experiment
9. If u break an equipment tell the teacher straight away.
10. Don't be noisy
