The Investigation


Aim:  To find out how high the tennis ball will bounce when you drop it.

Hypothesis: I think the ball isn't gonna bounce high.

Equipment:
Tennis ball
Meter Ruler
Retort Stand
Boss head and clamp

Method: Grab the tennis ball in your hand.
Stand on a table.
And let the ball go and measure the height of the ball.

Key Variables:

Dependent: How high the ball bounce

Independent: You are in charge of measuring the height.

Control: Keep the ball at the same height if the attempt is failedInside

Discussion: I thought that the ball would bounce higher but I was wrong. It didn't bounce as high as I expected
Conclusion:  In conclusion the ball didn't bounce high and the experiment went good but the ball didn't bounce as high as I expected.

Merchant of Venice Questions

1. Antonio is depressed without knowing why? what two possible reasons do his friends suggest? Antonio is depressed because his ships are at sea and he is in love.
2.Do you think Gratiano's contributions help Antonio's mood?Nope because he still is worried about his ships
3. My first impression of Bassanio is that he doesn't have money
4. Is he in love? yes with Portia
5. why does he need to borrow money again? to impress Portia
6. How do Portia's first words compare with Antonio's? Portia and Antonio are almost like the same because they are both in love and worried.
7. The reason is that she has been stressed trying to pick a man.
8. Do you think Nerissa is a help to her? Nerissa is a help to her because she is helping Portia pick a man.
9. Sum up, in a word or a short phrase, Portia's attitude for her suitors so far. She is mean she was comparing people to animals and stuff.

Act 1 Scene 3

1. Shylock is a moneylender. Does he seem eager to do business with Bassanio? How do you know? Yes, he is because he will put interest so shylock is gonna get more money than he gave Bassanio.
2. Which does shylock think is safe, his business or Antonio's? Why?  
3. Why doesn't shylock want to dine with Bassanio and Antonio?
