    It's good to add factual information comment.
    To make a comment better it's good to have a connection with the writer.
    It's a good thing to add a question at the end of your comment to start a conversation.
    To start a comment always start wit a capital letter and at the end pancuation.

    How do you get water up hill?

    Job: agricultural soil specialist

    Scenario: your client wants to plant crops in a field 1.5 m above the local river. He needs to get water to this field and has no electricity to run a pump and no hose. He must start from scratch! How he achieve this?

    You will need to consider ancient history+ an important person from back then.

    How does this work
    There's a screw at the back and the inside there's like a spiral thing that carries the water up and that will go up if Archimedes turns the screw at the back.

    Christchurch Water

    1. CHCH StormWater: What is it? It is storm water that came from a storm or snow.
    Where does it go? The water go to the sewers.
    What contaminate it? The outside of the pipe.
    2. Christchurch wastewater: What is it? The water in the toilet and the shower and the kitchen and all the water that leaves inside the house is waste water
    Where does it go? it goes to the sewers
    What contaminates it? The water goes down into the water.

    3.Where does CHCH get its water?New Zealand relies on collection of rainwater for water supply and septic tanks for sewage disposal.
    How is it purified?there is a filtiration
    What pollutes our city water before we drink it? it doesn't have chemicals so it's clean.

    4. Where does Auckland's water supply form? Hunua and waitakere ranges.

    5. What water bourne diseases and parasite can we catch in NZ? Giardia also can make us have diarrhea.

    where is it treated? at city council
    what are the steps involved in treating it?To treat water with chlorine bleach, put the water in a clean container and add 16 drops of bleach for every gallon of water. Stir in the bleach and let the water stand for 30 minutes. If the water does not have a little smell of bleach, repeat the dosage of 16 drops per gallon and let it sit for another 15 minutes.

    The treated water goes to the sewers.

    7. Small town do not always treat their waste water in the same ways as Christchurch.

    Prac: Red cabbage is used as an indicator it will change color in acids and bases. Put a couple of drops of each each test sample onto a spotting tray. Add a couple of drops of red cabbage. Note the colour.
