Should drugs be allowed in sports?

I think that this topic is very interesting because this has been an issue in sports. Sports is a game where
everyone strives to be at the top whether it is played with a team or not. Sports is a great chance to show
your athletic abilities and compete whether
it is competitive or not everyone still tries to be at the top and using drugs such as PED ( also know as
Performance Enhancement Drugs) will be unfair and using drugs will not show sportsmanship and
winning as a cheater.

What are PED's: It is defined as any substance taken in non-pharmacologic doses specifically for purposes of improving sports performance. The more common ones that you hear of are anabolic steroids, testosterone, human growth hormone, creatine, and ephedrine.

They use PED's which is a Performance Enhancement Drug. The PED they use the most is steroids. What are steroids? Steroids is a substance that can help you build muscle faster and can also help reduce body fat. Steroids are used by athletes and bodybuilders. Why do they use it? They use steroids because it is a faster way to gain muscle and using steroids can also reduce body fat which means they can eat a lot while also gain a lot of muscle at the same time but the problem is that, when they get caught using steroids in a competition, they can be disqualified and be banned for a whole year or two but taking steroid without knowing the side effects can be a big risk because you don't know what happens inside your body and your organs might have a malfunction due to the unknown side effects of steroids.

Therefore, I am against this idea because it is bad for athletes to use drugs because this can affect their health. The other reason is that they are role models. Role models are supposed to show their fans the right thing to do and them taking drugs will just ruin their sports career, not just by their fans and also risking their health.
