How To Make A Digital 3D Drill Gauge

In metal tech, we have been tasked on how to create a 3D drill gauge using tinkercad, so today I will be teaching you how to create a 3D drill gauge using Tinkercad.

How to create a shape. To create a shape, there should be a box on the right side of your screen and inside of the box would have different shapes, and click the shape that you want to use.

So now you should have this on your screen.

Now that you have a shape, you would want to put holes on the shape that you have chosen, and to do that, look at the box where the shapes were and pick the shape that is a cylinder and pick the one that doesn't have a color. If you are confused, pick the cylinder that looks like this.
Once you've done that, put the shape on the work plane and make the holes the right size that you need. The sizes of the holes on my drill gauge are 3,4,5,5.5,6,6.8,8,10. After doing the holes, your work should look like this.
Before you make the cylinders an actual hole, you need to highlight the whole shape and also highlight the cylinders in it. After you've done that, it should look like this.

After doing that there is a button on the right top corner that looks like an arrow. This is what the button looks like just in case if you are confused.
After finding that button, you would want to highlight your work before clicking the group button so that it groups the whole thing together. After doing that, your work should look like this.

If you want to put your name on it, on the same box where you found the shape at the start, there is a shape that says " TEXT " and you want to click that. After clicking that, your screen should look like this.

Click the text button. After clicking the text button,  A box should pop up on the right side of the screen like this.

The search bar that says " Text " on the box, write your name on the search bar and then the " TEXT " shape should change to your name like this.

After that you want to move the text that says your name to the shape, and make sure it is big enough to fit inside the shape and also do not overlap the grey cylinders and the text that says your name. After doing that it should look like this.
After doing that, you want to make the text says your name to become a hole. Do the same process how you created the grey cylinders to become a hole. So first you need to highlight the whole work, Second you want to click on the text that says your name and change it to a hole. To do that click this.

then click the group button on the top right where I showed you before. After doing that your work should look like this.

And that is your finished 3D drill gauge.

After 3D printing it, your work should look like this.

Skellig By David Almond - Questions

What do these images suggest?

There is a lot of images that the photos suggest but the main image that the book suggest is the black colored birds. The birds are suggested because Skellig is a human being that has black wings and using the birds as an image is basically the author telling us that he's an angel.

What genre does this belong to?

Skellig is categorized as Young Adult Fiction.

Who would be most likely to read this text? and why?

The people that would most likely read this text is kids. Kids would read this book because it is interesting. They would also like it because it is a fiction book and the book author is talking about a guy that has wings that can barely move because of arthritis.

Macbeth and Lady Macbeth Characterisation Task

    Image result for Macbeth
  1. Why is he obsessed with killing Banquo? (oh yeah, and Fleance too) He is obsessed about killing Banquo because the three witches said that Banquo's son will be kings.
  2. Has he completely lost it in the Banquet scene? (do you think the Ghost is real or imaginary?)   The ghost of Banquo that Macbeth has a scene in the banquet scene was imaginary. This shows us that he is guilty of the murder of Banquo.
  3. ]Valiant soldier or violent schemer at the beginning? Macbeth was a valiant schemer because he was loyal to King Duncan and has a lot of respect to him and did any order King Duncan has ordered him to do. Macbeth is also a violent schemer because, at the start of the movie, Macbeth was at a war and he killed everyone in his path to get to kill the enemy leaders head.
  4. Which factor is most influential: (a) Witches & their prophesy? (b) Vaulting ambition? (c) Lady Macbeth? For me, the most influential was the witches and their prophecy, because the witches told Macbeth and Banquo's future, and Macbeth knowing his future, Macbeth went nuts and started to kill everyone that was in his way of being the new king of Scotland
  5. To paraphrase these lines, Macbeth says that his self-delusion of seeing the ghost of Banquo is a result of the fear of the novice that needs more experience to harden him to such qualms of conscience. The last line refers to Macbeth's acknowledgment that he is yet but "young indeed," indicating that he plans to commit further abuses of power and acts of violence and murder in the future so that he can mature in his evil. The last lines of this scene thus express Macbeth's commitment to continue down the path of abandoning himself to evil.

My Digital Drill Gauge

This is my digital and custom made Drill gauge. I made the drill gauge by using a cylinder platform and making it thin and small so that it doesn't look weird. The holes are 3,4,5,5.5,6,6.8,8,10. The measurements are for the drills that the students usually use. I would use this to measure drills at home. I learned how to use Tinkercad better and what I found challenging was making the holes on the cylinder.  I have made an update on my tinkered and it now looks like this.

As you can see all I did was just put my name on it but it looks better in my opinion because it has my name on it. It is also very helpful because if I lost it they would know who the owner is because it says my name on it. I am thinking of making the name as a hole so that it looks even better.

After I changed my work, I decided if I should make the name a hole or not. Mt decision at the end was to change the text from a solid to a hole. This is what it looks like now.

In my opinion, I have chosen the right decision because it now looks better.

What have I learned? I have learned how to use tinkercad to make a digital 3D image of a drill gauge that I customized personally.
