I felt the rope was gonna break. The bridge was going down slowly we panic we carried on fast we all made it. We didn’t get soak or anything but the problem is the way home that was our only way to walk we didn’t know how to walk home. After we waited for 1 hour but we saw someone had a boat he letted us in the problem is he asked for money but we didn’t have enough money on us. He got angry and he said that we wasted his time he was suppose to go fishing but we wasted it and it's getting dark.He started making a threat and we were getting scared but a friend helped us he paid the guy and we got home. The morning the sun was shining and it was hot.

Sustainability
Aim:
I want to find out how to grow a sustainable garden.
Things I need to consider:
- Can the plants grow in our climate?
- What plants can you grow when planted in September?
- How long do they take to mature? When can they be harvested?
- How many mature plants will fit into my garden size?
- How can I water them during the holidays?
- How do I keep pests away?
I will grow
2 water melons
4 corns
14 potato plants
This is our plan:

auto watering things:
i will have 5 big bottles make a hole at the top and stick the top in the ground next to the root

How to keep the pests away:
we will put scare crows around the garden to keep the birds away and put beer to distract the slugs and put egg shells around the garden so the slugs would die.

The Dirtiest place in School
I think the most dirtiest place in the school is the toilet seat because peoples butt touches it and some people accidentally pees on the toilet seat.
Rubbish bin
toilet seat
gym floor
under J block
Library books
under table
food room bench
door handles
table top
glass window
bathroom top
inside toilet
outside toilet
general air
our hands
drinking fountains
White stuff
Equipment: Cotton buds, Agar dishes, cellotape
Method:take cotton bud and wipe it firmly on the surface
Wipe cotton bud across the surface agar jelly carefully
seal the agar plate with cellotype and write the location on the tape
stoe upside down in a dark location
conclusion
Mr stocks handle was the cleanest because after they have science they wash their hands
The rubbish bin because all the dirty stuff like food being eaten and germs grow inside it.
I was suprised by the disgusting fungus growing on the agar dishes
grew the most fungus was the rubbish bin
Grew the most bacteris is the girls door handle

How to make a Home made ginger beer
Aim:
I want to find out how to make ginger beer.
Method:
I need:
water,ginger,Lemon Juice,sugar and yeast.
Combine:
1. 600 ml water (cold or room temp)- if its too hot you'll cook and kill your yeast.
2.1 tsp yeast
3.Ginger juice
4. 4 tsp sugar- provides food for the yeast and multiply
5. juice of 2 lemons- provides and acidic environment that helps prevent other bacteria from taking over.
6. stir all of this in the jar, cover the jar with some fabric or a paper towel and place jar in a warm area
7.Everyday for the next week feed your yeast with ginger powder and 4 tsp sugar and stir in.
8.After a week, pour the ginger beer through cheese cloth and drink.
Result:
When i smelt the ginger beer it smelt like raw ginger.
What does it taste like: it taste like spicy ginger putted in your mouth.
When i shook it it made bubbles.
Discussion:
What is yeast: a microscopic fungus consisting of single oval cells that reproduced by budding, and capable of converting sugar into alcohol and carbon dioxide.
What did the yeast do in the ginger beer: I'm about to brew a ginger beer and was wondering if the choice of yeast is as important in a ginger beer, where the ginger dominates the flavour.
What are some other good uses of yeast: brew beer., make chocolate
what are other bad uses of yeast: bad bacteria

Food tech
Question- How does milk become youghurt
Hypothesis-I think put cream and sugar inside the milk and freeze it.
Material-Milk
yoghurt
method- In a beaker add 150mls of trim milk and two teaspoons of Acidophilus yoghurt. stir to mix. leave out overnight repeat with cream and with blue(full milk)

Material-Milk
yoghurt
method- In a beaker add 150mls of trim milk and two teaspoons of Acidophilus yoghurt. stir to mix. leave out overnight repeat with cream and with blue(full milk)
Observations:Trim,Blue,Cream
Predictions:the cream was thick and looked like yellowish. and the trim milk looks like greenish and the blue milk looks like the original milk. This is what it looks like after freezing it
The cream smells like cheese.
Bacteria reproduced
bacteria fed off the sugar
Trim milk made a thinner yoghurt than blue milk or cream because it has less sugar.
My hypothesis is wrong because we had to put milk and cream together and put in a beaker and after 5 days in the fridge and 2 days out it turned like this.
